Since I was feeling overwhelmed trying to figure out how to start a business, I thought a couple of small projects were in order. If I could make something and finish it, hopefully the sense of accomplishment will help me focus on the larger things. The first is a little felt envelope intended to hold a lock of hair from a baby's first hair cut. Approximately 4 inches (10 cm) by 2.5 inches (6.5 cm). I made it up as I went along and my embroidery skills are seriously out of date. But, it was fun and I think it is pretty sweet.

The second one is just a little painted onesie I did for a friend due in May. We don't know if it is a boy or girl so I made it gender neutral. Considering my oldest son was mostly jumping on my head while I was doing it, it turned out pretty well.
Now on to more serious endeavours like ironing O's latest Hama bead creation (an eagle, sun and moon) and figuring out what to make for dinner (chicken fajitas).
the baby vest is lovely!! and don't worry...I got both comments, thankyou!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen! I am embarrassed that you even looked at my pathetic embroidery.....You have to start somewhere though, right?
